A spectacular event attracting around 300 crews from all over the globe and appealing to every level of competitor from those who enjoy fun, fancy dress and charity stunts, to serious sports men and women who like to win. A great fun day out for competitors and spectators alike.

Since the Great River Race made it's debut in 1988 it has firmly established itself in the sporting calendar, so much so that experieced crews claim this is the one to win! The race progresses from rural Surrey through to the striking Docklands skyline. Starting at Millwall dock slipway - London Docklands - it moves down through Tower Bridge, Westminster Bridge, Lamberth Bridge, Battersea Bridge, Wandsworth Bridge, Putney Bridge, hammermsith bridge, Chiswick Bridge, Kew Bridge, Richmond Bridge and ends at the riverside below Ham House in Richmond.

Come and join in the fun and take in all the antics, competition and rivalry that make up this Great River Race.
